In 2009, Totango Design Studio was founded by Lucia
Cahyaningtyas. With our international experience,
combining design styles from both East and West part
of the world, we aim to speak in universal language
through our works.

Lucia Cahyaningtyas Founder / Creative Director

Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Lucia started her career as a Graphic Designer after graduating in 1999 with Cum Laude from Bandung Institute of Technology, major in Visual Communication Design. She also holds an M.S. degree in Visual Communication from Pratt Institute, New York City, USA and M.A degree with Distinction in Design Management from Northumbria University, UK.

Before finally settling in Hong Kong, Lucia has spent the last 9 years living in New York, Glasgow UK, Paris France and Newcastle-upon-Tyne UK, working full-time and freelance for graphic design, advertising and marketing companies. A graphic designer by nature, she believes simplicity in design is the most powerful way to communicate the most complicated message. Other than playing with shapes and colours, her passions are also in photography, traveling, and culinary arts.
